Codefree CD-Cops
Even though our standard CD-Cops only needs the code to be entered once, some customers would like to distribute CDs that do not require a code at all. We have now located some CD-factories that can handle a special "codefree" production process, making it possible to protect a CD with CD-Cops where the legitimate end-user is totally unaware of the CD code. The code is stored on the disk and checked automatically. This eliminates the need for any end-user interface. "Codefree" production needs one extra step in the production phase, in theory, this can be made at almost any CD plant, but some tests need to be made before a final go-ahead can be given.
