The Copenhagen School of Dental Hygiene has recently released a fascinating CD-ROM illustrating the anatomy of the head by the use of Macromedia Director multimedia files (DXR files). Since these files are of standard format and can be read by a standard Macromedia browser, they chose to encrypt the files using Cop’s Crypto. The result is a CD that cannot be copied, containing encrypted data that cannot be used without the original CD-ROM.

No noticeable speed performance degradation was detected on the DXR files.
